Oyster Shooter
Shuck as many oysters as you need. Drop one oyster into each shooter glass, hit it with a shot of ice cold vodka and a squeeze of lemon or lime, top up with tomato juice then a couple of drops of tabasco.
If you can bear to wait, pop it in the fridge for 30 minutes or so while the lucky oyster laps up the vodka. Take a sip – all good? OK, knock it back in one hit.

Kilpatrick
Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees. Shuck around eight oysters per person and place them securely on a baking tray (a layer of rock salt helps keep them upright so you don’t lose any of their delicious briny liquor.)
Mix 150ml of Get Shucked Marie T Worcestershire sauce, a cup of diced bacon or ham and a teaspoon of lemon juice.
Place around one teaspoon of the mix on each oyster and add some grated cheese on top if you like. Pop them in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until you hear them start popping. Great hangover food!
Oysters Aphrodisiac
Grab a dozen opened Get Shucked oysters, in the shell with their own delicious briny liquor. Gently dollop a teaspoon of King Island crème fraiche on each oyster. Top with a sliver of Bruny Island smoked salmon and some Bruny Atlantic salmon caviar.
Drizzle lime juice, light candles, pour the bubbly and then … and then …
Eat Fish, Live Longer - Eat Oysters, Love Longer
Few foods compare with oysters in nutritional value. Oysters are high in zinc and D-aspartic acid, which boost pleasure-enhancing dopamine – ancient legend as well as modern medical science have linked oysters with improving male potency.
They are rich in vitamins and minerals such as iron, copper, omega-3 and vitamins A, B1, B2, and C. They are extraordinarily rich in protein, high in iodine and low in cholesterol. All this good stuff – and they taste delicious too!
